Be it the rain water harvesting system that these people developed or the technology and ingenuity behind the Ashoka Iron Pillar or the Grand Trunk Road, an infrastructural marvel of the olden days, we have always broken the barriers that curtail Creativity and Innovation. IIT Roorkee, the oldest Technical college in Asia, has always worked to keep the lamp of human ingenuity shining brightly. COGNIZANCE, the annual technical festival of IIT Roorkee has also played an important role in the mission to achieve excellence. It is with the same endevour that COGNIZANCE brings to you its flagship event, TechnoVision with the theme 'Technovating India'.  This event will test the participants zeal and enthusiasm to work for the country through the knowledge that they have gained in our hallowed institutions of Higher learning.
