“Students are the pillars of tomorrow; harbingers of the fruits it promises and the flowers it bears.”

With prime focus on providing an opportunity to students of classes 8-12 to sharpen their talents, Cognizance 2010 endeavours to help the young, budding minds of the nation enhance their aptitude and skills through "Eduwiz" - an initiative to help students instil confidence in their capabilities, maximise their potentials and choose an apt career.

The event comprises of three different stages: 

The first stage, an all-India IQ examination, has already been launched. An estimated number of 50-60 thousand students from amongst numerous cities (viz. Roorkee, Haridwar, Dehradun, Nainital, New Delhi, Meerut, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow and many others) will participate in this grand skirmish of intellectual brains. The top ten percent will make it to the next round.

The second stage, the Nurture Program – is an online portal designed to facilitate this pool of geniuses gain information about Olympiads, scholarships and future career options, which would guide them on their way to the perfect vocation. They will be provided with an account on the Cognizance website and will be able to participate in the quizzes, interviews and other events posted on the site. Moreover, their queries will be entertained through online interactive forums and they will gain access to study material posted on the website, covering diverse fields. Besides, an “Achiever of the week” will be selected every week and rewarded to bolster motivation.

A select few will qualify for the third stage, based on participation. Apart from getting a certificate of appreciation from Cognizance, they will also get a chance to take part in the Education Conclave to be held at IIT Roorkee – an opportunity to interact with top notch intellectuals of the nation viz: IIT professors, IIT/AIIMS top rankers, DU toppers, coaching institutions and experts, along with access to workshops, seminars and other events.
