Barcamp
The summer of 2005 at Palo Alto, California was everything it had been before: sunny and bright. But something unusual was stirring behind the offices of Socialtext. The first ever Bar Camp!

As the participants ( who made up for an average IQ of 150) of the BarCamp were busy in intense discussions and networking, the word flew fast and wide and suddenly the world had BarCamps for everything ranging from open software to real estate to startups.

So what exactly is a BarCamp? Hint: It has nothing to do with beer and everything to do with the hacker term foobar.
It is an 'unconference' where it is up to the people to decide what to discuss, and then self-organize a 'marketplace' of breakout sessions where participants can learn and contribute information. In the end it is one amazing scene of controlled chaos!
What's more, people are free to decide what they exactly want to hear and to start their own breakout sessions. It is a slick way of networking and interaction with people who may very well turn out to be tomorrow's big guns.

This March, Cognizance in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell brings you an experience that will emulate the Palo Alto revolution- A StartUps BarCamp. So if you have a startup, an idea, a doubt or two feet, lug in your laptops and BE THERE!
