ROUND-1:

CASE-STUDY, for all the would-be consultants who want to test their skills and pit against the best brains across the world. The event promises to have more twists and turns. Apart from solving real life cases and fighting out the battle among the best, how about getting adjudicated by Big-Shots from Corporate house!

• Do you have a right mix of attitude and aptitude?

You can choose any one of the following case studies. Four teams would be shortlisted on basis of each of the case study. One team would be shortlisted on Judge's discretion. The format of submission of case analysis would be uploaded on 23rd Feb 2009.

ROUND-2:

Business Management Game

INTRODUCTION:

It has been realized that for successfully running a company, one needs to manage projects and resources exceptionally well. A dual increase in resource scarcity and consequently its cost increases along with increase in clients’ demand for meeting deadlines of projects have made it essential to optimize the available man-hours & their knowledge + skills to complete these projects.
Howsoever, the organization scales up to grow organically, inorganically, or both; all such growth strategies can come crashing down if proper management of projects and resources is not done. The trick is to be operationally efficient at all times. This game simulates such a competitive environment and tests your skills – to survive and grow.

The event is a Project Management Game. You begin as a small company with few projects running in the beginning. You need to manage these projects, and over time, acquire new projects and new companies. The availability of new projects and companies would be a function of your performance and profitability.
The game will be played under the following heads which will help you take all necessary decisions –

• Performance Snapshot
• Project Management
• Employee Management
• Mergers & Acquisitions

Treasury-Simulation

Invest wisely.. Track the market news..Maximize returns and you might see your virtual money turn real...!!!

Apart from the shortlisted teams who will be playing final round of STRATMAN - Software Project Management, there would be another crowd puller event for on spot registration: Treasury-Simulation. The teams will have to build a portfolio of the companies under STRATMAN teams and trade accordingly on the basis of market news and Quarterly results announced by the STRATMAN - teams.

These teams will be driving the market sentiments & in turn effect the earnings of STRATMAN -teams.
